I Find Both Mr. Mirzoyan's and NSS's Comments Completely Satisfactory: Alen Simonyan
“I find both Mr. Mirzoyan's comment and the NSS's comment completely satisfactory. Now, should we rush to the parliament to discuss whatever someone says or what users did? I have life experience working with him, he is my colleague, my friend, my comrade. Even before interpreting that document, everything was clear to me,” stated Alen Simonyan, the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly, during a news briefing, addressing the well-known Facebook post of former Armenian Ambassador to the Vatican Mikayel Minasian, in which he allegedly presented the National Assembly Speaker as an agent of Turkish special services.
“Strategically, those who want to exploit this have chosen a very wrong tactic lately, misleading people with incorrect, correct, semi-correct, and semi-incorrect information, bringing about a situation where it is very difficult to make any announcement today and convince people to believe it. People today have started to distrust anyone's words; they analyze and make decisions,” Simonyan noted.
It should be reminded that earlier Ararat Mirzoyan characterized Minasian's statements as nonsense, emphasizing that they should be subjected to criminal-legal assessment. The NSS of Armenia also released a statement, noting that the information published by Mikayel Minasian regarding the Speaker of the National Assembly is evidently false and has no relation to reality.
