Armenia Restores 24/7 Electricity and Gas Supply in All Regions of Artsakh: Harutyunyan

Arayik Harutyunyan, the President of Artsakh, has issued a statement on his Facebook page.

“Dear compatriots, the work aimed at ensuring regular electricity supply has also been completed in the Berdashen sub-region of the Martuni district. Thus, we can state that in all populated areas of the Republic, the around-the-clock electricity supply has been restored, and only the issue of ensuring the corresponding power capacity remains to be finally regulated. The gas supply has also been fully restored, while there is still significant work to be done in the field of communication and telecommunications.

As a result of military operations, almost all power supply substations and many sections of the network in Artsakh were destroyed or damaged. Nevertheless, thanks to the dedicated and professional work of the system employees, even under the intense conditions of war, it has been possible to guarantee stable electricity supply in the majority of populated areas. We are deeply grateful to all the employees of the infrastructure systems who, disregarding all dangers and difficulties, ensured vital living conditions in Artsakh, even at the cost of their own lives.”
