Photo: Azerbaijani labeled Coca-Cola has not been imported into Armenia – statement
Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company Armenia has responded to reports circulating on social media regarding the sale of Coca-Cola products labeled in Azerbaijani in the Armenian market.
“We would like to inform you that Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company Armenia (CCHBC Armenia) is the official bottling partner of The Coca-Cola Company in Armenia, which produces or imports and markets non-alcoholic beverages under The Coca-Cola Company's trademarks. Any product packaged or imported by our company for sale in the Armenian market goes through various stages of review and strictly complies with the applicable regulations of the Republic of Armenia and the EAEU. The packaging contains texts in the required languages as stipulated by these regulations: Armenian/Russian, and no packaging includes Azerbaijani text. The product meets international and local quality and safety requirements.
We inform you that the product with this labeling has not been imported into Armenia and is not authorized for sale in Armenia by either CCHBC Armenia or The Coca-Cola Company,” the statement said.
