Our Villagers Are Armed, They Will Ensure Their Own Security: Shurnukh Administrative Head

Residents of Shurnukh who have been displaced are living in the upper neighborhood, focusing on their daily tasks with their livestock. The weather is currently good, and the livestock should be grazing outside; however, they keep them confined so they don't go down to the river, drink water, or enter areas under enemy control. This was stated to Tert.am by the administrative head of Shurnukh, Hakob Arshakyan.

According to him, there is no movement in areas past the village that are now controlled by the enemy, and there are no new residents; only their border guards are present with tents.

“Some of the displaced, whose homes have passed to the enemy, are living in the village's upper neighborhoods, while some have temporarily relocated to Goris and Kapan,” said the Shurnukh administrative head.
