Russian and Turkish Servicemen to be Deployed at Agdam Joint Monitoring Center

In Nagorno-Karabakh, a joint Russian-Turkish monitoring center will be staffed by around 60 Russian and Turkish servicemen. As reported by RIA Novosti, this was stated by Turkey's Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu.

"The location of the monitoring center is Agdam. The construction has already begun. In the first phase, around 60 Russian and Turkish servicemen will be stationed there. Our military personnel have already started moving there," said Çavuşoğlu.

He added that this will be a small monitoring center, but it could be expanded if necessary. "If the need arises in the future, we will negotiate with Azerbaijan and provide the necessary support," the Turkish minister noted.
