Prosperous Armenia Meets With Candidate for Supreme Judicial Council Member Gagik Jhangiryan

The Prosperous Armenia faction met today, January 15, with Gagik Jhangiryan, a candidate for member of the Supreme Judicial Council. This was stated by the faction's secretary Arman Abovyan in a conversation with NEWS.am.

“The meeting took place in a normal working atmosphere. I would prefer not to disclose the list of issues we discussed, as the meeting was closed, but I can say that all the issues currently concerning the public were raised,” he emphasized.

When asked if the faction has already made a decision on how they will vote in favor of Gagik Jhangiryan, Arman Abovyan stated that any decision will be made only after discussing the results of the meeting.

According to Abovyan, not all members of Prosperous Armenia were present at the meeting, as some lawmakers are currently visiting regions.

It is noteworthy that Gagik Jhangiryan’s candidacy for the position of member of the Supreme Judicial Council was nominated by the ruling My Step faction. In the previous days, Jhangiryan also held meetings with representatives from My Step and the Bright Armenia factions.
