Russian Military Medical Workers Provide Assistance to 1,238 Residents, Including 157 Children: Russian Ministry of Defense
Since November 14, 2020, a total of 49,264 people have returned to their former places of residence in Artsakh, according to information from the Russian Ministry of Defense website. The engineer-sappers of the humanitarian demining center continue their work in clearing landmines from Artsakh. In just one day, they cleared a 1.5-hectare area, 1 kilometer of road, and 1 residential building. Overall, since November 23, 2020, a total of 526.6 hectares of land, 198.8 kilometers of road, and 751 residential buildings have been cleared of unexploded ordnance, including 25 social significance facilities. Additionally, 23,404 explosive items have been discovered and neutralized.
Russian medical brigades have provided outpatient and polyclinic medical assistance to the population of Artsakh. In total, Russian military medical workers have rendered assistance to 1,238 residents, including 157 children.
The Russian peacekeeping forces, in cooperation with representatives from the ICRC and the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Artsakh, continue the search for the remains of those killed during military operations and their transfer. Since the start of efforts to gather information about the missing in the Artsakh conflict, the hotline has received 570 calls. All requests have been forwarded to the search teams of the parties involved in the reconciliation center.
