Regulations for Assigning Maternity Benefits to Non-Employed Individuals Revised

The procedure for assigning maternity benefits to non-employed individuals has been revised. This information was provided by the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of Armenia.

By government decision, the requirement to submit the state certificate of childbirth assistance has been removed from the list of documents needed to qualify for maternity benefits. Previously, according to the existing regulation, non-employed mothers were required to present a state certificate of childbirth assistance to benefit from this assistance starting from the 22nd week of their pregnancy.
