Armenian Weightlifting Teams Conduct Training Camps

The men's national weightlifting team of Armenia is conducting a training camp in Abovyan starting from January 12, while the women's team is training at the 'Olympavan' facility. Nearly 40 athletes are included in both teams.

The weightlifters are preparing for the Armenian Championship scheduled for February 1-7, which will be followed by further training camps and sessions. The composition of the national team will be determined for the European Championship, which will take place in Moscow starting April 1.

The head coach of the men's national weightlifting team, Pashik Alaverdyan, stated that the team will be represented by 10 male and 5 female weightlifters at the European Championship.
