The incident occurred early in the morning on the 974th kilometer of the M-4 "Don" highway in the Rostov region of Russia. A passenger bus overturned, resulting in 2 fatalities and 3 injuries, as reported by RIA Novosti.

According to a statement from the regional road police, "On January 13 at 6:25 AM, the driver of a Mercedes passenger bus, according to preliminary data, lost control of the vehicle, leading it to overturn."
