The agenda of the trilateral meeting included not only the return of prisoners but also issues of unblocking transport communications: Makunts
The issue of returning prisoners and the ongoing work surrounding it have been and remain our priority, with both the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) and the National Assembly (NA) collaborating on these efforts. This was stated by Lilit Makunts, the head of the "My Step" faction, during a briefing with journalists at the NA.
“The agenda of the Moscow trilateral meeting included not only the return of prisoners but also issues concerning the unblocking of transport communications,” Makunts said, adding that three out of the four hours of negotiations were dedicated to the issue of returning prisoners.
According to the MP, the announcement on January 11 was an intention to take action, with the Prime Minister previously indicating that if the issue of the prisoners is not resolved, the mechanisms for implementing agreements will face difficulties. This, according to Makunts, was reaffirmed during the visit to Moscow.
