Immediate Response to Any Incident is Imperative: Senor Hasratyan on Ceasefire Violations
Considering the already traditional behavior of the adversary and its non-constructive attitude towards the agreements reached, it is imperative for our official representatives to respond immediately to any such incident and disseminate information at all levels. This was stated by Senor Hasratyan, former spokesperson of the Artsakh Defense Army, on his Facebook page, referring to recent ceasefire violations committed by the enemy.
“Judging by the developments in recent days at the contact line of the opposing forces and in the occupied Armenian territories (gunfire in Shushi, the destruction of a cross-stone memorial in the village of Arakhul, and today a gunshot wound in the eastern border area), it creates the impression that the Azerbaijani president's statement that the Nagorno-Karabakh issue has been definitively resolved is not taken seriously not only by the Armenian side and the international community, represented by the co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group, but also by his own soldiers (otherwise, they would not be firing),” Hasratyan noted.
Given the adversary's traditionally non-constructive attitude towards the agreements reached, it is crucial for our official information representatives to react promptly to any such incidents and publicize information at all levels. Now, more than ever, we need to have a competent and goal-oriented information system that conducts its operations in a substantiated and as operational as possible manner.
Note: I urge all responsible officials who disseminate official messages regarding the aforementioned provocations carried out by the adversary, treating them as actions that pose no threat or as actions allegedly conducted under the influence of alcohol, to seriously consider what they are saying before writing any text or answering media questions, as the public perceives all this as official.”
