Criminal Case Initiated Following Wound of Conscription Soldier Vardan Kirakosyan

Criminal proceedings have been initiated regarding the case of conscription soldier Vardan Kirakosyan receiving a gunshot wound, as reported by the Investigative Committee's information department.

On January 13, 2021, around 12:00, as a result of gunfire from an adversary combat position, conscription soldier Vardan Vachagani Kirakosyan was injured by a gunshot wound to the abdomen at the combat post of military unit N.

A criminal case has been opened in the primary garrison investigative division under Article 34-104, Part 2, Point 13 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia. An investigation is underway.
