Fog in Abovyan Region Villages of Nor Geghi, Boujakan, and Teghenik; Lars Open

The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that there are closed highways in the territory of Armenia. The road leading to Amberd Fortress and Kary Lake in Aragatsoni Province is closed.

In the Abovyan region of Kotayk Province, fog is present in the villages of Nor Geghi, Boujakan, and Teghenik.

According to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Russian Federation’s Ministry of Emergency Situations in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars highway is open for all types of vehicles.

According to the information from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, the decision to prohibit foreigners from entering Georgia remains in effect. This restriction does not apply to freight transport.

Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.
