Roads Closed Across Armenia, Fog Present in Several Areas

The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that there are closed roads in the territory of Armenia. The roads leading to the Amberd Fortress and Kari Lake in the Aragatsotn region are closed.

In the Kotayk region, there is fog in the communities of Nor Geghi, Buzhakan, and Teghenik. Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.

According to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open for all types of vehicles.

Information from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia indicates that the decision to prohibit the entry of foreigners into Georgia remains in effect. However, the ban does not apply to cargo transport.
