Spanish Santa Pau City Recognizes Independence of Artsakh Republic

The administration of Santa Pau city in the Girona province of Spain has recognized the independence and sovereignty of the Artsakh Republic by adopting a motion presented by the "Barcelona Armenian Cultural Association." This information was reported on the official Facebook page of the Armenian Embassy in Spain.

It was noted that Santa Pau city also condemned the military aggression unleashed by Azerbaijan against the Artsakh Republic since September 27, 2020, and Turkey's active interference, as well as the military crimes committed by the Azerbaijani armed forces.

It is worth recalling that a few days ago, the city council of Castellón de la Plana in Spain unanimously adopted a statement recognizing and condemning the Armenian Genocide.
