Baku Acknowledges the Fact of 62 Captured Citizens; MPs Meet with Muradov

The official Baku acknowledges the fact of 62 citizens captured by the Armenian side. This information was shared by Nazeli Baghdasaryan, a member of the 'My Step' parliamentary faction, on her Facebook page.

'My meeting with the parents of the servicemen captured from Khznaberd and with the commander of the Russian peacekeeping forces, Rustam Muradov, has just concluded. During the meeting, the general confirmed that official Baku acknowledges the fact of 62 citizens captured by the Armenian side. This circumstance is an important guarantee for the safety of our citizens' lives and health,' she wrote.

The MP also informed that the named list of those captured has been passed on to the peacekeepers' command to be given to the Azerbaijani side. 'Today’s meeting also confirmed that our captives are located in Baku. The timelines and conditions for the safe return of our citizens will be discussed in the next phase,' Baghdasaryan added.
