Video: Bring Our Kids Back, Parents of Captured Shiraz Residents Staged Vigil at the Regional Governor's Office
The parents of captured soldiers from Shirak once again gathered at the Shirak regional governor's office, demanding answers about their loved ones.
Relatives of the captives were at the governor's office until late at night, pressing Governor Tigran Petrosyan and the regional police chief to arrange a meeting with representatives from the Ministry of Defense and the military police, seeking information about the captured soldiers.
The situation was quite tense, with many insisting they would not leave until they received specific information about the boys who had been taken.
Governor Tigran Petrosyan announced that he would meet with representatives from the Red Cross and the Ministry of Defense the next day, after which he would then meet with the families to relay the information he received.
It is noteworthy that the families of the captives insisted that their demands were not political and made it clear that they would not allow any attempts to politicize the process.
Recall that residents of several communities in the Shirak region had recognized their relatives in videos circulated by Azerbaijanis online. They organized a protest at the Shirak regional governor's office and blocked certain road segments in the region, demanding clear information about their captured loved ones.
