Video: Parents of Missing Soldiers Overcome Barriers to Enter Ministry of Defense's Yard

WRed

A new group of parents and relatives of missing soldiers gathered at the Ministry of Defense early this morning. They are seeking an urgent meeting with the Minister of Defense, as they have been made aware through circulating rumors and videos that there are new captives among Armenian soldiers.

The parents state that they have not been able to rest all night and will remain at the Ministry until effective measures are taken to locate their sons. Without waiting for any formal invitation, they broke through barriers to enter the Ministry’s yard.

Media representatives are following the situation from a distance, as filming has been prohibited within the Ministry. The parents are now aiming to break through the main entrance leading to the building.

It is worth noting that yesterday, Chief of General Staff Onik Gasparyan met with three parents of 40 soldiers who have gone missing in combat operations from a unit in Ejmiadzin, assuring them that search efforts are ongoing and that they would be informed of results daily.
