The Third Nagorno-Karabakh War has turned into a disaster for Armenia, with thousands of families losing their homes, and the country losing control over vast territories. Many Armenians considered Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's decision to sign a ceasefire statement an act of betrayal.

We traveled to Armenia and Artsakh, conversing with participants in the military actions, their families, refugees, and political figures to understand how they are coping with defeat and how they envision the country’s future.
