No Gunfire Reported Near Kapan, Says Syunik Regional Administration

Dear residents of Syunik and representatives of the media,

Information has circulated online claiming that "today, around 19:30, the enemy launched an attack towards the village of Agarak in the Syunik region and that the opposing force fired on Kapan's defensive positions for half an hour continuously." We inform you that this information is not true; there has been no gunfire near Kapan's borders, our borders are protected, and the situation is being controlled.

We remind you that earlier, information was released stating that there had been half an hour of gunfire towards the village of Agarak in Kapan, and the enemy had given the Armenian side 10 hours to leave their defensive positions.
