1013 New Coronavirus Cases Confirmed in Armenia

As of December 13, Armenia has confirmed 1013 new cases of coronavirus infection, bringing the total number of infected individuals to 148,325. According to the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the RA Ministry of Health, 24 citizens have died due to the virus in the past day, raising the death toll to 2486.

In addition, there were 2 cases of patient death from other illnesses reported among those infected with coronavirus within the same day. As of December 13, the total number of these deaths is 617. Overall, 26 individuals have died in the past 24 hours, bringing the total death count to 3103.

On the brighter side, 648 patients have recovered in the last day, increasing the total recovered to 125,169, while the number of active cases stands at 20,053 (an increase of 339 compared to the previous day). A total of 3119 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours, with a cumulative total of 548,359 tests performed to date.
