Russia Demands Conflict Parties to Maintain Ceasefire Regime in Artsakh
Following an incident involving gunfire from automatic weapons in the Hadrut region of Nagorno-Karabakh, a demand for the complete maintenance of the ceasefire regime has been communicated to the conflicting parties. According to РИА Новости, this was reported to journalists by a representative of the Russian peacekeeping forces' headquarters.
“Gunfire from automatic weapons was recorded in the Hadrut region. Through direct communication channels, a demand was promptly conveyed to the parties regarding the maintenance of the complete ceasefire regime,” the representative stated.
It should be noted that, according to the Armenian Ministry of Defense, on December 12, the Azerbaijani side resumed offensive operations in the direction of the villages of Hin Taglar and Khtsaberd in the Republic of Artsakh. The Russian Ministry of Defense, in turn, confirmed the recording of a ceasefire violation incident.
