Provocation by the Adversary Against Artsakh Defense Army and Russian Peacekeepers: Davit Babayan
The advisor to the President of Artsakh, Davit Babayan, declined to comment on the phone conversation between Araik Harutyunyan and former MP Ruslan Israelyan. In an interview with 24News, he stated that the information was beyond his commenting purview.
Speaking about the military incident registered in Hadrut, he noted, "Yes, there has been provocation by the adversary against the Artsakh Defense Army and the Russian peacekeepers. However, I would not like us to exaggerate everything. Such provocations will undoubtedly continue in the future, but they will receive a harsh response from both us and the Russian peacekeepers," he added.
It should be recalled that a scandalous recording involving the President of Artsakh, Araik Harutyunyan, and former MP Ruslan Israelyan was circulating on Telegram channels yesterday, in which Israelyan complained that he had been seeking assistance from Armenia for ten days, but none had been provided.
Moreover, on December 11, around 20:40, the adversary attempted an attack on one of the combat positions deployed in the southern direction of the Defense Army, resulting in varying degrees of gunshot wounds to three reservists.
