Malhas Amoyan Defeats Turkish Opponent and Reaches World Cup Final
In the Serbian capital of Belgrade, the first day of the individual competitions of the World Wrestling Cup began with a remarkable performance by Armenia's Greco-Roman wrestler Malhas Amoyan. Our 72 kg wrestler entered the finals by defeating Turkish wrestler Cengiz Aslan with a score of 7:0 in the semi-finals. He will meet Hungarian Balint Korpash in the final match.
Our 55 kg wrestler Rudik Mkrtchyan, 67 kg wrestler Slavik Galstyan, and 77 kg wrestler Karapet Chalyan will participate in the consolation matches and compete for bronze medals, as their victorious opponents have advanced to the finals.
