Greece to Provide Humanitarian Aid to Armenia

After a request from Armenian organizations in Greece, Armenia will receive humanitarian aid from Greece today. According to Armenpress, this information was reported by Greekcitytimes.

The Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs' International Development Cooperation Service will deliver the aid to Armenia as part of a humanitarian mission. The Armenian Relief Society, the Armenian Blue Cross, and the Macedonia-Thrace Cross of Condolence have collected aid for those affected by the Nagorno-Karabakh war with the assistance of Armenia's consulate in Athens.

In cooperation with the Ministry of National Defense, an aircraft has been provided to transport the humanitarian aid to Armenia. The humanitarian assistance includes medical supplies and food. Local Armenians and Greeks have contributed to the collection of the aid.

The efforts are coordinated by the head of the International Development Cooperation Service, who will deliver the aid to representatives of Armenia's Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Armenian Relief Society's branch in Armenia.
