Azerbaijani Forces Tasked to Capture Khznaberd by Morning and Demand Withdrawal of Russian Peacekeepers: WarGonzo
Azerbaijani Armed Forces representatives have demanded that Russian peacekeepers leave the area of hostilities in the Hadrut region. This information comes from the Russian WarGonzo project's Telegram channel, citing sources from the frontline.
“They justified their demands by saying, ‘To avoid casualties,’” the message states. They then conveyed that the militants have been tasked with capturing Khznaberd by morning, disregarding the presence of Russian peacekeeping representatives in the combat zone.
The Telegram channel also reports that 250 Turkish special forces are involved in the attack on Khznaberd. WarGonzo notes that the number of Russian peacekeepers in the combat area is unknown, while the forces of the Artsakh Defense Army are significantly smaller.
It is also important to recall that on December 12, the Azerbaijani side resumed offensive operations towards the settlements of Hin Taglar and Khznaberd in the Republic of Artsakh, as reported by the Ministry of Defense of Armenia. The Russian Ministry of Defense has confirmed the recording of a ceasefire violation.
