Police Launch Official Investigation into Incident Involving Protester and Officer

The Armenian Police have initiated an official investigation following an incident involving a protester and a police officer during a civil disobedience protest demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
This has been reported by the Public Relations and Information Department of the Police of the Republic of Armenia. Earlier, two citizens were taken to Heratsi Hospital No. 1 from France Square in Yerevan with various injuries.
One of the citizens, G.L., born in 1979, has sustained a skull and brain injury and is currently undergoing examination. The other individual, born in 1997, is a police officer who has suffered an upper limb injury and is also in the examination phase.
