Tuition Fees for Students Participating in the War to be Fully Compensated for the First Semester

The Armenian government approved a measure at its meeting today, December 10, to reimburse the tuition fees for students who participated in combat operations during the war unleashed by Azerbaijan against the Republic of Artsakh, as well as for children of those involved in the war and student spouses of combat participants.

The issue was presented by Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Vahram Dumanyan, who noted that under this initiative, 100% reimbursement of tuition fees for the first semester will be provided for the specified individuals.

The minister emphasized that the beneficiaries include students who took part in the war, as well as students whose parents or spouses participated in the conflict. He also mentioned that those who have already paid their tuition fees will receive refunds.
