Targeting Former and Current Officials Mentioned by Moses Hakobyan: Who Will Be Summoned for Questioning?
On November 19 of this year, following the well-known press conference of former Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, military former inspector Moses Hakobyan, serious investigations are underway at the Special Investigative Service (SIS). According to information from the newspaper "Zhoghovurd," current and former officials have been summoned for questioning as part of the criminal case initiated by the SIS.
The individuals in question are those whose names were mentioned by Moses Hakobyan during the press conference, or those who could have had an official influence or connection to the circumstances discussed by Hakobyan.
We have learned that former Minister of Defense David Tonoyan and Chief of Staff Onik Gasparyan are also set to be summoned for questioning in the near future, as Hakobyan named both of them during his press conference. Additionally, names have been mentioned including former Chief of Staff Artak Davtyan, former Secretary of the Artsakh Security Council Samvel Babayan, former Minister of Defense of Artsakh Jalal Harutyunyan, and others.
It should be noted that Hakobyan was invited to the SIS just two hours after the press conference, and now large-scale investigative work has begun within the agency.
