Statement by Major Dero Uzunyan of the Arabkir Division's Criminal Investigation Department

Major Dero Uzunyan, an investigator in the Criminal Investigation Department of the Arabkir Division of the Police of Yerevan, has issued a statement announcing the cessation of his service within the system.

“Dear colleagues, due to the created situation, I am compelled to suspend my service in the Police. For many years, I have served the law and rights. This is indeed a difficult decision; I have voluntarily submitted my resignation and am leaving your ranks for the sake of my own safety. I am confident that if you look at reality with a somewhat more discerning eye, you will reach the same decision. Wishing you all well, safety, and peace. God bless our Homeland,”
