I Contacted the Qapan Brigade, Saying There's a Blockade, I Have an Injured Victim Next to Me, Help Wasn't Sent: War Participant
“There was no fog; we passed three posts, but no one informed us that there would be Turks in front of us, and we walked right into them,” said the brother of a missing soldier, who also participated in combat operations.
In response to the remark that the colonel stated there was an attack and the soldiers fled in various directions, making it impossible to find them, the man said, “The attack happened in the mountains and forests, and we were surrounded... We are told that there may be ten to twenty Turks, but by the time we arrive there, it turns into five hundred.”
When asked how they got out of the blockade, the man replied, “By miracle. We arrived at the Kiri mine with our own efforts and requested help... Later we learned that no one was supposed to go there; the artillerymen were supposed to shell the area... As it turns out, we shouldn’t have been there, but we went...” He noted that his brother was also in the second bus, and they lost track of each other.
“I contacted the Qapan Brigade, saying there’s a blockade, I have an injured victim next to me, but help wasn’t sent. Yet, from that particular military unit, they are sending my papers to the military police as a deserter, saying that I retreated under bombardment in Jabrail and I remained safe... Well, let them deal with the fact that I requested help and they didn’t deliver it,” the man added.
