Discussion on Healthcare Research Implementation Programs
On December 9, Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Armen Ghavondyan participated in the 88th session of the Economic Council of the CIS via video conference. The participants exchanged ideas on current issues related to cooperation in various directions within the CIS framework.
The agenda of the CIS Economic Council included, among others, discussions on agreements aimed at preventing and combating the use of counterfeit trademarks and geographical indications among CIS member states, and initiatives to develop and promote the use of natural gas as fuel for vehicles in CIS member states until 2025.
They also discussed joint research implementation programs in the healthcare and insurance sectors, as well as pressing issues and solutions related to innovative activities. As a result of the meeting, over ten decisions were made regarding economic, energy, agriculture, and machine engineering issues.
The organizational matters were also addressed, specifically regarding the holding of the 89th session of the CIS Economic Council in Moscow on March 12, 2021.
