We Will Try to Cause Difficulties for All Teams: Henrikh Mkhitaryan

The draw for the qualification round of the 2022 World Cup took place on December 7. The Armenian national football team has been placed in Group J, where they will compete against Germany, Romania, Iceland, North Macedonia, and Liechtenstein.

Armenia's team captain, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, commented on the results of the draw in an interview with the official website of the Football Federation of Armenia: “I think it’s not a bad group for us. There are no easy opponents now, but I can say that it’s not the hardest group. We will be playing against teams with different playing styles and we will try to prepare as well as possible and fight against all teams. We aim to cause difficulties for all our opponents and earn as many points as we can.”
