Unity March from Freedom Square in Support of Soldiers and Their Families
Director Mher Mkrtchyan, producer Armen Grigoryan, and actor Hrant Tokhatyan have made a call for unity. It has come to pass that there is no authority in Armenia. There is no state body responsible for systematically addressing the return of soldiers missing or captured during the Artsakh war and for handing over the remains of fallen soldiers with dignity.
We recognize that every moment is precious in resolving this fateful issue. We also understand that the resolution of this problem depends on every Armenian, regardless of their place of residence.
For this reason, we declare: tomorrow, on Sunday, November 29th at 12:00 PM, a unity march will start from Freedom Square, aimed at supporting our soldiers and their families and conveying our voice to all reputable international organizations.
We call upon all our concerned compatriots, regardless of political preferences, who wish to contribute to the resolution of this vital issue - JOIN US.
And this is how it will proceed:
- Gathering of participants at 11:45 AM in Freedom Square
- March starts at 12:00 PM
- Route: Freedom Square - Russian Embassy
Further actions and routes will be communicated through our Facebook pages.
P.S. We kindly ask participants to come only with photographs of our fallen and missing compatriots, excluding any images of captured soldiers for safety reasons.
Please post this on your page and add your name.
