T. Abrahamyan Admits That There Were Much Better Agreements Than the One He Signed
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has attempted to justify the disgraceful state of the country in a lengthy post, referencing his perceptions of the various stages of the process. This was noted by Tigran Abrahamyan, the head of the analytical center 'Henaket' and former advisor on security issues to the President of Artsakh.
He specifically stated:
“In short, he points out that there were better options for the situation, but he had to refuse them during these 2.5 years to avoid being labeled a traitor. Do you understand? Armenia and Artsakh have been taken through a path of turmoil, 75-80% of Artsakh has been handed over to Azerbaijan, we have lost several thousand people, and a huge number are missing or disabled, and Nikol has knowingly passed through all of this to convince us that he is not a traitor, it just turned out this way. I repeat, he admits that there were much better agreements during this time than the one he signed, but he refused them and ultimately signed this disastrous document.
By the way, before his visit to Russia, he hints that friendly countries were also inclined towards bad options for us. Why he undermines relations with already struggling Russia before his visit is simply inexplicable.”
