Saudi Arabia has officially suspended imports of meat, eggs, and other products from Turkey amid political tensions and an unofficial boycott of Turkish goods. This information was reported by the Turkish Exporters Assembly, which noted an increase in trade barriers in Saudi Arabia and indicated that exports to the country have decreased by 16 percent in the first ten months of this year.

Turkey's Trade Minister Ruhsar Pekcan stated earlier this week that Riyadh insists there is no official boycott of Turkish products. “We expect concrete steps toward resolving issues in our trade relations,” she said.
