Parents of Conscripts March Towards Ministry of Defense

Parents of conscripts who have been protesting near the government since the morning have not received the expected response. Hundreds of parents of soldiers serving in Artsakh are now marching towards the Ministry of Defense of Armenia. It has been decided that they will gather at 18:00 in front of the Ministry to present their protest and demands to the head of the defense agency.

It should be noted that they had prepared a petition addressed to Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. Mané Gevorgyan, spokesperson for the Prime Minister, met with some of the parents and stated that the service of those serving in Artsakh cannot be suspended, nor can they be transferred to Armenia. She mentioned that they are currently trying to resolve the issue regarding the granting of leave to soldiers. Many parents were not satisfied with this response.

Many of the parents have expressed their willingness to stand on the front lines in place of their sons, as their children have gone through 44 days of hell and are now living in inhumane conditions.
