Israel Adopts Defensive Measures as Iran Promises Harsh Response

Today, Israel has declared a heightened state of combat readiness at its embassies worldwide in response to Iran's promise to take revenge for the assassination of nuclear physicist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, Reuters reports.

The press service of the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that the ministry would not comment on issues related to the security of its overseas representatives.

It should be recalled that earlier, Iran's president and other high-ranking officials had promised a harsh response to the assassination of Fakhrizadeh.
