After Signing the Defeat Mandate, Artsakh Finds Itself in a Whirlwind of Uncertainty: Senor Hasratyan

After the Armenian leadership signed the mandate of defeat, Artsakh has found itself in a whirlwind of uncertainty. This was stated by Senor Hasratyan, the former head of the information and public relations department of the Artsakh Defense Army, on his Facebook page.

“Despite the fact that Artsakh residents who temporarily left their permanent residences due to military operations are gradually returning to their homeland, many are still dominated by despair and skepticism about living under their own roof. The situation is particularly dire for those whose homes and properties earned over the years are under the control of enemy forces.

There is also a noticeable increase in provocations by Azerbaijani militants directed at Artsakh's internal and external transportation infrastructures, which naturally has a negative impact on people's already difficult psychological state. Adding to this is the de facto lawlessness prevailing in the republic, where the Armenian population loses optimism about the future day by day.

The pathways to solving the created situation are both few and difficult. The main hope of the ordinary citizen today is not the local authorities, but as strange as it may sound, the Russian soldier. And this is already a tragedy... A tragedy not only because the people of Artsakh do not trust their traditional ally, but especially because today they have an incapable authority that does not realize its mission,” Hasratyan wrote.
