Thank You Russia: The First Public School in Stepanakert Resumes Educational Process
In the capital of Nagorno-Karabakh, Stepanakert, the first public school has resumed its educational process, which had been halted due to the conflict in the region, reports RIA Novosti.
At the end of September, the authorities of the Republic of Artsakh decided to suspend educational activities due to the ongoing military operations in the area, after which schools and kindergartens were closed.
“Today, the first school in Stepanakert is resuming its educational process. Other schools will also open later,” a representative of the city administration said during a meeting with reporters.
Representatives of the Russian peacekeeping mission were also present at the event, where they gifted a new television to the educational institution.
