New Evidence of Gross Human Rights Violations by Azerbaijan Continues to be Submitted to the ECHR
The Office of the Representative of the Republic of Armenia at the ECHR has provided all information regarding the legal measures taken to ensure the right to life of individuals captured by the Azerbaijani armed forces, including applications sent to the ECHR by the Republic of Armenia or individual lawyers, and the measures applied against Azerbaijan, to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, the Ministry of Defense, the International Committee of the Red Cross, as well as to the Human Rights Defender for action within their respective mandates.
New evidence of gross human rights violations by Azerbaijan continues to be submitted to the ECHR. Additionally, any information regarding the captured individuals is sent to other state bodies for examination and future legal actions. Any action or initiative aimed at protecting the rights of the captured individuals and ensuring their swift return is commendable.
However, it should be noted that issues concerning the captured individuals have sensitive aspects, especially for their relatives. Any initiative aimed at collecting personal data through social media, publicizing information regarding the number of captured individuals, or disseminating statements referencing unknown sources not only poses risks to the life and health of the captured individuals but also causes immense pain and suffering to their relatives.
