Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Vahe Dumsanyan Holds First Working Consultation
The newly appointed Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports, Vahe Dumsanyan, has held his first working consultation, attended by the deputy ministers coordinating the areas of the ministry and heads of its structural divisions.
In his speech, Minister Dumsanyan emphasized that during this challenging and responsible time for our nation, his primary focus will be on the coordinated activities of the sectors of education, science, culture, and sports, effectively and promptly addressing sectorial issues, and simultaneously developing fundamental conceptual programs.
“I welcome all of you; I recognize many faces here. I have assumed the ministerial office during a very complex situation and period, and I am here to work and utilize my opportunities and potential to address the existing issues in the field, of course, together with you,” stated Minister Dumsanyan during the meeting with his staff.
During the working consultation, the deputy ministers and heads of divisions presented urgent issues that require immediate solutions. The discussion addressed budgetary programs that must be implemented by the end of the year, the organization of education for schoolchildren relocated from Artsakh to the Republic of Armenia, social programs being discussed in the ministry for students who participated in military actions, the preservation of cultural heritage, and other sectorial issues.
