Materials Being Prepared Regarding Sudden Death of Russian Contract Serviceman

In Gyumri, at the 102nd Russian military base, materials are being prepared in the Shirak regional investigative department of the RA Investigative Committee regarding the sudden death of a Russian contract serviceman. This was reported to NEWS.am by Rima Eganian, the spokesperson for the RA Investigative Committee.

It was noted that the press service of the Southern Military District of the Russian Federation had announced that the body of the Russian serviceman was found by a fellow serviceman.

“A commission from the command of the Russian military base of the Southern Military District is conducting an investigation into the death of the contract serviceman in cooperation with law enforcement agencies. No signs of violence have been found on the body of the serviceman,” the statement said.

All circumstances of the incident are being clarified.
