Call to Join Tomorrow's Intellectuals' Gathering to Stand with the Parents of Our Saved Soldiers - Karin Tonoyan
The director of the "Armenian Knight" educational foundation, Karin Tonoyan, has called on Facebook for gathering at Charles Aznavour Square to support our captured children, demanding adequate attention to the issues concerning our prisoners and missing persons, as well as the health, psychological, and current service conditions of conscripted soldiers.
"Dear young Armenian knights, parents, and Armenians who value every prisoner and fallen soldier, tomorrow several intellectuals (regardless of any sentiment towards them) will gather at Charles Aznavour Square to support our captured children, demanding that adequate measures be taken to address the health, psychological, and current service conditions of our prisoners and missing, as well as conscripted soldiers. I urge everyone who knows me to join this gathering, to help save even one soldier’s life, to stand beside the parents of our saved soldiers, and to demand that all possible efforts be made to rescue them from the enemy's bloody hands. We will meet tomorrow at 14:00 at Charles Aznavour Square."
It is worth mentioning that earlier, film producer Armen Grigoryan, director Mher Mkrtchyan, and actor Hrant Tokhatyan had also called for gathering at Aznavour Square.
