There Are No Azerbaijani Soldiers Inside Armenian Borders, Says Gegharkunik Governor

"Dear residents of Gegharkunik Province, according to the signed trilateral statement, following the withdrawal of Armenian units from the Karvachar region, border clarification and placement work is being undertaken in certain border areas of Gegharkunik Province with the participation of Armenian, Russian, and Azerbaijani sides," Gegharkunik Governor Gnel Sanosyan wrote on his Facebook page.

The governor stated that the state border of Armenia is being monitored thoroughly by the corresponding divisions of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia.

"There are no Azerbaijani soldiers inside the borders of Armenia," Sanosyan emphasized.
