Additional Russian EMERCOM Unit Arrives in Stepanakert

An additional unit from the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations (EMERCOM) has arrived in Stepanakert to assist the local population. As reported by Armenpress, TASS has reported this information.

“An additional unit from EMERCOM has arrived in Nagorno-Karabakh, consisting of rescuers from Noginsk and Tula services, as well as members of the ‘Leader’ center. Representatives of the central apparatus of EMERCOM and specialists from the Ministry of Energy have also arrived,” said a representative from EMERCOM.

Recently, an Il-76 aircraft landed in Yerevan with an additional group of rescuers and equipment. They will be stationed near Stepanakert in the village of Ivanyan. The specialists will provide targeted assistance to the population of Nagorno-Karabakh.
