No Residents Have Been 'Ordered' to Leave Berdzor by November 30, Says Kashatagh District Administration
The administration of the Kashatagh region of the Republic of Artsakh has issued a statement declaring: "We officially announce that no resident has been 'ordered' to leave Berdzor by November 30. There is a circulating hypothesis that from December 1, the governance of the city of Berdzor will be transferred to Azerbaijani city officials, while residents of Berdzor will be allowed to continue living there. This is still a hypothesis, and we cannot yet say anything about its confirmation or denial; accordingly, we cannot 'order' anyone to leave the city.
Discussions and negotiations regarding the future status of Berdzor city are underway, and we hope that the Government of Artsakh will announce the results in due time and that as few people as possible will be harmed."
It is worth noting that several users on Facebook are reporting that residents of Berdzor have been given three days to leave the city.
