I met with high-ranking representatives of the NSS not on my initiative or at a place of my choosing, says Bishop Arshak

Yesterday, I found myself in an unusual situation, unintentionally drawing public attention regarding reports about my invitation from the National Security Service (NSS). Given that I have received numerous phone calls during this time, some of which I could not respond to, I find it appropriate to present the following in a general way:

Firstly, I sincerely thank everyone who has expressed their support to me and would like to inform that there is no cause for concern. I am currently at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin and I continue my service.

Regarding the information published, I want to state that a few days ago, I met with high-ranking representatives of the NSS not on my initiative and not at a place of my choosing. I do not wish to discuss additional details. If necessary, the NSS representatives themselves can speak on this matter. I would advise the NSS press center to consult with the NSS leadership before denying the facts.

As for my views and convictions regarding the resignation of the Prime Minister, they remain unchanged. I will continue to serve my Church and my people, relying on God's blessing and support. May the Lord bless our country and our people.
