The EU Signs Vaccine Supply Contract with Nubar Afeyan's Moderna Against Covid

The European Union has signed its sixth contract for the supply of COVID-19 vaccines. According to Reuters, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen announced that a vaccine supply contract has been signed with Nubar Afeyan's Moderna.
"I am pleased to inform you that tomorrow we will finalize a new contract for the supply of COVID-19 vaccines," she said.
This sixth contract allows the EU to purchase up to 160 million doses of vaccine annually from this company.
